1. Company Information
CarMotoRental.gr provides car, scooter and motorcycle rental services in Kalamata and the wider Messinia region.

2. Rental Requirements
To rent a vehicle, the following are required:
- Valid driving licence.
- Valid ID card or passport.
- Minimum driver age: 23 years.
- Driving licence held for at least 3 years.
- Compliance with Greek traffic laws.
The company reserves the right to refuse vehicle delivery if these requirements are not met.
3. Reservations
Reservations can be made through our website or by direct communication with our company.
All reservations are subject to vehicle availability.
The company reserves the right to provide an equivalent vehicle if the selected model is unavailable.
4. Payments
Payments may be completed using the payment methods available during checkout.
All transactions are processed through secure payment systems.
Prices displayed on the website include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated.
5. Vehicle Pickup & Return
Customers are required to collect and return the vehicle at the agreed location and time.
Customers are encouraged to inspect the vehicle upon pickup.
The vehicle must be returned in the same general condition as received.
6. Fuel Policy
Vehicles are delivered with a specific fuel level and should be returned with a similar fuel level.
Refuelling charges may apply if the vehicle is returned with significantly less fuel.
7. Traffic Fines & Violations
The renter is solely responsible for:
- Parking fines.
- Traffic violations.
- Administrative penalties.
- Any offence committed during the rental period.
8. Insurance
All vehicles are covered by the minimum insurance required under Greek law.
Additional limitations or excess amounts may apply according to the insurance provider’s terms.
9. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Booking Cancellation
- Reservations may be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
- For cancellations made less than 48 hours before pickup, the company reserves the right to retain part or all of the amount paid.
- No refund will be issued in case of a no-show.
Refunds
- Where a refund is applicable, it will be processed using the same payment method used for the booking.
- Refund processing times depend on the customer’s bank or payment provider.
Early Vehicle Return
No refund will be provided for unused rental days in case of early vehicle return unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Force Majeure
The company shall not be liable for cancellations or delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes or government restrictions.
10. Limitation of Liability
The company shall not be liable for:
- Loss of personal belongings.
- Theft of personal belongings.
- Delays caused by third parties.
- Indirect or consequential damages.
11. Changes to Terms
The company reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Greece.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Greek Courts.
